From fig,

Moutier: June 24, 2004. Rhythmic Gymnastics improves on all the continents and the 2nd Rhythmic Asian Championships recently organised in Yangzhou (CHN) brought another proof.

The Chinese confirmed their Asian superiority already seen during the last World Championships. Sun Dan took the gold at the all-around and at the clubs, silver at the ball as well as the bronze at the hoop and ribbon. Ling Zhong earned 1st place at the ball and four times the 2nd place at the other finals.

Good surprise, Fong Seow Ting (MAS) won at the hoop and got the bronze at the all-around. The Japanese Murata earned 1st place at the ribbon, 3rd at the ball and 4th at the all-around Ashaeva (UZB) completed the podium at the clubs (3rd).

During the Groups finals, China took the 3 gold medals.

I believe most people only pay attention to European gymnasts, and this is very normal as RG has developed in Europe for so many years. However, the gymnasts from Asia have been working very hard, especially in recent years, they have great improvement. I hope more and more of people will pay attention to them and supprot them(especially those from CHINA), and they can receive the real score they deserve. They have skills and potential. They may have different style from those from the west, but their standard is high and they keep improving.
Here are some photos for you, hope you guys enjoy them!

India did go, but their result was bad. They even do not their own half-shoes....they have to share one pair of shoes!
their apparatus are not standard ones and do not meet the regulations. The Chinese team borrowed some to them for competition and give some apparatus to them as presents, They did not do well, but, they took it serious, and have tried their very best. I really appreciate their attitude and i hope that they will keep on their trainning. Looking forward to their next performance in international competitions.
