Hi everyone!
I am doing a lexicological research on gymnastics terminology as part of my Master's studies. One of my research questions will probably be about the alterations made in the COP within the period of 2001 until the present day. For that, however, I would need all the Code of Points issued in 2001, 2003 and 2005, that is, those that came before the present one. I didn't find them from the FIG page, maybe I just missed them, but please if anybody knows where to find them, maybe even in this message board, or from you own computer, then I would be so thankful
My e-mail address is nelksu@hotmail.com
Thank you in advance!

Wow Nele! That's a cool subject! If you need any advice of which programs faciliate your coding procedure for all occurences of a specific terminology use I recommend Atlas.ti as QDA prgram. I have used this to analyze the interviews for my PhD thesis and I found it very useful! (Very recent book by Susanne Friese: Qualitative Data Analysis with Atlas.ti, 2012) I'd have loved to be able to read that book prior to starting the transcription and analysis proces. Feel free to PM me about it if you want.
Good luck! _________________ RG is the true reason to go on in my life! |

I only have a printed copy of 1993, 1997 and 2000...
All I remembered about the COPs:
1989- Mediums and superior difficulties
1993 - requirements: 4 A's ; 1 C and 1D minimum... 10 difficulties valued from A to D... note: C is a combination of A+B and D is a combination of B+B...
1997 - requirements: 4 B's with req. technical apparatus handling; then 6 extra difficulty of the gymnast's choice, ranging from A-D (same as 1993) GCO's were already present but under a different name...
this is if my memory serves me right... _________________ "Jealousy is the tribute mediocrity pays to genius."

If anyone has the old digital codes could you please send them (pm) to me or if you have print versions if you would let me know what the rules were for leotards.
I'm doing a research paper about the history of rg leos and this would be a great help. |

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I'd be very grateful for any copies of old COPs as well. It'd be interesting to look over them _________________ Tumblr |

I have retrieved a FULL 1993 COP, although it has been translated into Dutch. If anyone is interested, I can scan it and put it up online.
I do not have that much time to translate into English though... _________________ Gimme the ball, gimme the ball... |
