Dear RG friends,
This is going to be a quick description...as related to me by Anahi Sosa and Olga Karmansky. In the coming week (sorry, I don't have exact dates) is an international competition in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil. All indications are this will be the location(!) and the name of the venue...Albares Cabral Club. Event name is "Pan American Championships" and is held every 4 years. Olga points out, "...its different from the "Pan Am Games", which is also every 4 years." Pan Am Games, takes place in 2007 and becomes a major qualifier event for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. "Pan American Championships" in the coming week was last held in Cancun, Mexico and Olga was All-Around winner in 2001.
Let's see what else did they tell me ... Am piecing this together from both of them. Olga departs Tuesday, so it is safe to say the event probably takes place next weekend in Vitória. Anahi is very happy to be training after her fast recovery and looks forward to competing. Here is very partial list of competitors and (please forgive), re Canada, Brazil, and Mexico...I am guessing from teams fielded at Baku.
Anahi Sosa / ARG
Antonella Yacobelli / ARG
Olga Karmansky / USA
Lisa Wang / USA
From Brazil I am going to guess...
Luisa Marumi Matsuo / BRA
Ana Paula Ribeiro / BRA
Ana Paula Scheffer / BRA
Canada is coming and possible are...
Carly Orava / CAN
Yana Tzikaridze / CAN
Probably gymnasts from Mexico...
Cynthia Valdez? / MEX
I copy now from Bete's previous thread and here is the schedule listed in Portuguese...
11/11/05 sexta-feira
15:00h - 18:30h

12/11/05 sábado

-Competição Individual (maças e fitas)
13/11/05 domingo

Ok, plz plz- I hope forum members from Brazil, Canada, or Mexico can post to this thread correct me and give better details... RG is alive in the Americas! -Tom |

Hi Anahi and Olga
Oh, this is such wonderful news for both of you. To Olga Karmanski: I really hope from my heart you have a great time during this competition. You are such an idol for me. Please, from my family, give Anahi a friendly hug for us
To Anahi Sosa: I bringing a small message from someone who not only adores you, but, she loves you with all her spirit. Beika Aärtz has been praying with her heart nearly each day that you recover and return to RSG soon. She was so excited to read and hear this news in this post. She wants you to know you are very beautiful and she feels your emotional passions in your work.
Lots of love from my family for both of you, may you find great success for all you do for us.
P.S. Tom T. did you find our email, which Aunt Lisa and Nikki Aärtz sent two days ago? _________________ Lover of RG

Dear Anahi & Tom,
Thank you very posting this information. Actually, thanks to all who have posted information here. We have several guest neighbors from Brazil stationed with us for specialized trainings. We've made it a point to introduce them to RSG and Stars Luisa Marumi Matsuo / BRA, Ana Paula Ribeiro / BRA Ana Paula Scheffer / BRA the best we can.
Does anyone know if this competition will be broadcast? We would like to provide coverage if possible for many South American families here using our Military servers.
To sweet tiny Anahi, we wish you so much love and thanks. You are very popular with many Afghani students ages 10 - 25. From our hearts we hope you arrive to good times and quick return to Europe with all your friends Give Silvina our love too.
From our Papa (Colonel Aärtz), he sends his regards, he thinks of the many laughs you shared together in Boston. He hopes to bring our special gifts to you someday
To all the Stars who will be arriving and performing. We sincerely hope all have great time and lots of fun with friends. May you find the dreams you so richly deserve.
Love, _________________ RSG Hugs & Smiles
