Maybe we can transfer the photos and links to photos and make lists of videos previously uploaded at that topic, to make "manual" uniting |

Agree.
Furthermore, the users who open certain threads should also feel responsible for them -maybe collect all the information that appear in that special thread and collect it in their first post. Example:
http://rsg.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11173
I opened a thread about Solovieva and will look after it, to make sure that it is of use for everybody without searching endlessly. _________________ If you can dream it you can do it |

I agree with you Escalina. After all, it's not that difficult to find and take care of your own threads, at least the ones that have som importance. |

There are different solutions for solving this problem, on some other forums is much more strictly regulated
Check this for example:
http://fsvids.9.forumer.com/
There they have solved the problem of double topics by indexing figure skaters by category. I don't believe that this strict system is neccesary, but atleast there they don't have problems with so many topics on the same things...They don't have 67 pages, and dozens of double or unanswered topics...
Hehe, anyhow, i must admit this chaos on this forum gives me a sorta cosy feeling, having everything so organized gives me a cold feeling when browsing a forum.. |

Yeah I definitely wouldn't want one topic for each gymnast
But the taking care of our own threads idea - as I said, I agree. |
