I prefer this.
Personally, I don't think the Japanese style can be called "Men's RG"... it looks different when I watch it... I reckon Men's RG should be defined as the Spanish style. _________________ Click here to download my mixes.

I agree, the Japanese style is more like a different sport all together. |

I don't dislike Japanese style, their expression is beautiful, but I don't like the acrobatic series... too difficult to coordinate with the apparatus. Concerning Spanish style, I think that it has to be adapted for boys: take more elements from masculine ballet (some more jumps, pivot positions), and a different leotard proposition. It's not that I don't like current leos, and I wouldnt ban them, but if I had the choice to wear something different, I would consider to compete in rg (something that could allow judges to evaluate my legs, without being so thigh). Maybe shorts like in AG? Or something a bit less thigh, like in figure skating. But only, as an option, respecting also the ones who use original rg unitards |

Totally agree.
I think when it come to men RG they may also use different apparatus.I found stick which is use in japanese rg to be very interesting to watch. _________________ Filiou, Phazava, Nichol, Rodriguez - smaller federation, bigger performance!!! |

It is intresting to have men in this sport. They won't be so unique if they do exactly the elements of the female gymnasts. They must follow the one rule What is Rg.Perfect movement and apparatus handle based on music. They must have different body elements-more strenght and less flexibility(Some elements would look ugly if done by male gymnasts )
I have seen videos of the Spanish male- rhytmical gymnastic and i am not sure what is more annoying;their play or their outfits.
The Asian style is much better but they need ruls.Which apparatus do they use?Rings, stick, rope and clubs?
check those videos.

Men's RG that originated in Japan and is now participated in many areas (Ecuador, Russia, Canada, etc.) DOES have a COP. Yes, their apparatus is stick, clubs, rope, and rings, and freehand for group. |

I am afraid to seem old fashioned but men should be men.. strong and ready to act.. rhythmic gymnastics is all about grace and beauty... well, sure, there are male dancers, or ballet dancers... but still imho I do not like men in RG. |

I love seeing Men's RG in development. It just makes me happy, because there's nothing more gratifying than seeing someone enjoy what they're doing. No one has the right to say that something should be this or that based on society's gender roles. Congrats on being on TV! Very admirable. |

I am afraid to seem old fashioned but women should be women.. graceful and beautiful.. artistic gymnastics is all about strength and force... well, sure, there are female weightlifters, or kickboxers... but still "imho" I do not like women in AG.
