Temperatures over 30 °C are also for my dwarf hamsters (it's "Tscheburaschka") too much... today I have put up a ventilator!

The old lady Daphne.... with almost 2,5 years very old for a dwarf hamster. She has unfortunately not long to live, even she if is still very fit. Maybe 1-2 months, maybe few days....

i can imagen, our dogs are constantly lying on the ground because we have tiles (which look a bit like a wooden floor Razz) and they're cold so they're cooling down on them.
After dinner when we take them for a walk we don't walk as long as normally because half way through they're getting it quite warm

Since today new in my dwarf hamster family (no. 6). But at the moment has this little man no name..... maybe "Schneebällchen" Cool (little snow ball)? Or again a Russian name? I don't know.

Yes "Schneeflöckchen" is correct, but it's a boy not a girl. Maybe it's only the veeery rarely winter coat and he will in few weeks normal gray (white is also rarely). I think I choose "Fjodor".

And by the way your German spelling is pretty good, I understand you ever in Fb. Sometimes a forgotten letter or a wrong time, but very good Very Happy.
