Oh yes, all the story are so nice. I realize everyday how the internet is wonderful!!! You can find any kind of information you want, from a recipe to the lastest events that happened in the world, AND you can even share and enrich your love in a sport that is not much practiced in your country. That is so wonderful !!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

About my story : I didn't discovered RG by the internet, I was lucky, there was a RG club in my town. I didn't know RG at all at that time, but after trying AG (the coach was way too military for little girls of 6-7 years old) and dance (it was kind of hard to make real friends there, if you understand what I mean), I wanted to try something in between : the atmosphere of a sport club (how wonderful to support and be supported!), the spectacular side and the artistic side...And I discovered RG ! I became a big fan right at the begining, composing 'choregraphies' in my living room and searching for musics all the time, and my passion just grew up when I discovered international RG on TV with the WC in Brussels in 1992, with Kostina, Petrova, Lukyanenko, Serebrianskaya...But the point of no return is when I saw WC in Paris in 1994, like Tom said, RG in live is astonishing and sooo full of emotions !!!!!! I started to use the internet to watch RG last year because I was in the US for a long time and couldn't fill my need to watch RG. I'm back to France now and still go on rsg.net when I can (which is not as often as I would like with my time-consuming job). I just love this forum !

I was gymnast for 7 years. But last 2 years I had some injuries. And then I always had my knees and back pain. So I retired, but I'm still adore gymnastics. The gymnastics was the greatest thing in my life. Now I'm just fan, but huge fan Wink

I also discovered RG from youtube, lol.
I found 2 videos, one called 'Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Training Center' and the other was one of Kaja's called 'Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics School'. I instantly fell in love with RG and began my 2 month period were i just watched Alina Kabaeva routines all day! Then i found Anna Bessonova who has been my total favourite ever since.
I looked for a club, but there is none for over 120miles to me, so im planning on doing alot of traveling by train to a club. In the meantime i train by myself, and it turns out im naturaly made for RG, its the only thing im good at ;')
Conclusion: Thank god for youtube! haha.

I saw "Rhythmics is not easy!" by Kaja and investigated RG further. The rest is history.

When i as training at spelthorne and was an international sports acrobat i also used to watch their rhythmic side, which was Rebecca Jose and Hannah Mckibbon mostly.I loved watching it and wanted to try it out but of course it conflicted with the many hours of acro i had to do to compete in european and world championships.
