I think that person gave deduction for choice of body movement and variety.
see Artistry deduction tables in the COP. _________________ Go Alina, you are the Olympic Champion 2008!!! |

i think it is maybe not possible cause that symbol of the cartweel means that you have to perform the whole cartweel and then the element also i think it has to be done on the hands and not on the elbow, this is what i think but i dont know, so the symbol of the cartweel means that you have to perform the whole move but in the video ella makes it only half the move.. but maybe i am wrong |

That's a cartwheel or backward walkover symbol. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/Tahnee2612 |

As the body group for ribbon is pivots, you cannot claim the bonus for the difficulty. Only in a throw where you throw from or catch in a pivot can you get the difficulty A bonus. The same applies to all apparatus so as the body group for rope is leaps, throw/catch with a leap and you will be able to claim that bonus. Same in hoop due to the equal weighting of body groups for this apparatus. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/Tahnee2612 |

Oochy, most of the symbols are available from the symbol brochures that are posted on the FIG website along with the COP. These files are in word format. |

Very little changed in the Difficulty (TV) value, except that the FIG now has set a tolerance of 20 degrees when validating the difficulty. For example, a split leap of (180 minus max. 20 =) min. 160 degrees is valid as a difficulty, but with an execution deduction if the split is not min. 180 degrees. And as happens a lot throughtout the years, a couple of new difficulties have been added. |
Marie -
I remember reading about this in the new pictures they show of how to perform the elements, the ones from the FIG site. Do you know why they're now accepting this? |
