I can think now about unfair judging with Kabaeva in early 2000 but that deal offended mostly Chaschina because those years she were stronger than Alina and Anna
Next Kapranova and Sessina in 2005-06 you know I think that was fair judging because despite lack of expressivity somehow from these girls perform very expensive elements and try to do their best, they do mistakes but like their rivals do.

Now I actually find kinda intrigue in rg like in figure skating or so
because Anna is world champion and Kanaeva performs so well

...
I know I have contributed with a lot of off topic posts to random threads, but I think this thread has the potential of having VERY important information at some point, and it'd be a real shame for it to get lost in Yet Another Viner vs whatever thread.

I don't have the moral authority to force any of you to do anything, but please, if you want to continue discussing this, click on the Viner vs whatever thread of your choice (not this one) and go on.

Thank you Very Happy

On a sidenote, any news on this would be very appreciated. Very Happy

Agree with you, Mariel...
Since making her press statements after Atlanta 1996 (vowing to do whatever it took to keep Russia #1)...everyone reading here can make a long list.
C'mon mates, PLEASE let's try keep to the details of this particular case. -T

Ps. Sery makes an interesting statement, today on motionplay...

Now Viner also won't be a candidate of FIG TC member/president.

As far as I know, no, she has not pulled a "Tanya Harding" yet. ....do you think we should let her?

on Russian.
Even if she will disqualify, this event will not break us(Russians). To break Russians it's impossible. All who was "delighted" to this situation can be assured of it. Mr. Green

It is not about to break Russians but to break cheaters. I am quite sure that fair people can be Russian. For me, Viner is a cheater but all Russians are not cheater.

If you do think that these two cases will put the end of nowday practice you are far away from the reality in this sport.

There is a saying:"Holy place is never empty.!"

So, there will be A LOT of voluntiers to continue this "holywood" story.
I do not why, but I'm quite sure in it.
Till the system remain the same, everybody who would like to lead should
follow the system rules.

What system?..... the exersice's value & judging- system.

I posted a video of the Viner Hearings

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPMM0fc5LyI

There is a small interview with Alina Kabaeva. Could someone translate?

Thanks.
