so i got a question..was she disciplined for making comments about the judging on the grounds the she is on the technical committee....or simply becuz she didn't agree with the judging.
I don't understand how u can suspend two coaches for voicing their opinions. So i guess it was a violation of their..uhh i dunno "technical committee oath". Can someone please clear this up/? |

officially, she was disciplined for her word after the victory of Anna Bessonova at the AA of Patras, where she denounced the "complacency" of the judges for Anna
officially... _________________ www.lagr-forum.com : the French RG forum

I think it was expected since it became public that it came down to lack of diplomacy. |

Leaving the shock and all aside...
I'm beginning to wonder who brought this up in FIG. According to the Statute, anyone pretty much who has participation in it (including some judges) can bring up cases.
Also, I think that the legal possibility of Ukraine being benefitted from this outcome exists. It sounds weird, I know, but... 1)if they have a superb lawyer, which I am sure they do; and 2)if accusations against Viner are similar against Deriugina's (which we can't know with certainty because of the lovely transparency of FIG), then, when Deriugina's case reaches the CAS (because I am quite sure it will), they can present Viner's case as a precedent for the resolution of the Tribunal on at least one of the points of the accusations against Deriugina. Maybe this will not give her full freedom, but at least there could be a reduction in the sanction.
It is worth reminding, too, that international law is based on precedents.
Hoping for similarity in the cases is a lot, I guess, but the possibility exists. |

I just went to the FIG website and in the place on the RG page where the posted the news about the outcome of Viner's hearing they placed a picture of her, and can I just say that she looked like a total mess in that photo?! She looks like she just woke up after having slept on her hair all wrong but let the FIG take her photo, anyway. Someone should've offered the woman a brush. _________________ *Elegance is an attitude.* |

It's been there for a while, no?
I remember 'cause I was asking my mum how old she though Deriugina is, and she was surprised when I told her
That woman is overwhelmingly attractive.
Anyhow, I just noticed that Viner is *also* wearing the 'Kabaeva' lipstick!!!!
Maybe she gave her the tip
But yeah. I think that, for FIG pictures, they're quite bad. I guess Deriugina gets the extra for being attractive, haha. |

Haha, yeah I'm sure it's been there for a while, but I just now went over there and saw it. I only went to the website to see if they had results from Astana up yet. _________________ *Elegance is an attitude.* |
