She's not clean and neat. Moves a lot when she does a balance or pivot.
And her ribbon technique is ..... I don't know how to say.
She got a D score under 5, mostly because her ribbon does not have a clear shape and moves slow.
In the video I saw Soloviva&Garaeva's coach I saw at corbeil was with Ermakova. That young coach.
And is she trained by Garaeva's coach? Really? |

I don't think soloviova and garaeva have the same coach-marina govorova.soloviova must be trained by vera shatalina..I am not sure though....govorova was soloviova's coach when she was in russian group(2005).
sometimes the federation cannot send to the competitions all the coaches and one coach is in charge of all the gymnasts. |

She incorporated several new throws that will qualify as Risks, and in her rope routine she performed fewer than 18 body difficulties. I didn't count how many she did in the other routines, though. |

the thing is that if she did changes for the new code....she was't able to use same difficulties(ring turns)...so she had to do fouette.....!!!!! |

Yeah, she did routines that were halfway in-between the 2007 CoP and the 2009 CoP. Had she just stuck to 2007 she probably would've done a little bit better.
But that still doesn't excuse all of her sloppiness or this horrible new Michael Jackson rope routine. _________________ *Elegance is an attitude.* |

I agree, Sofia, she is way too talented for anyone entrusted with her development to allow her to end up as such a boring, mundane gymnast. And by all accounts she does seem to be passionate about rhythmic gymnastics, so it's not a lack of interest in being a gymnast that's the problem.
Does anyone know who acted as her coach at the Taiwan event? I'm still not clear on what her coaching situation is now in Novogorsk. _________________ *Elegance is an attitude.* |

But I don't think Karpushenko accepted a position at the center in Novogorsk when Ermakova was brought there. I would presume she's being coached by people in the Russian national coaching staff, but I do not know who exactly. _________________ *Elegance is an attitude.* |
