Who's your favorite artistic gymnast?
Mine is Chellsie Memmel, but I also like Jade Barbosa. _________________ I have a gymnastics blog again. Here we go. toomanyamanars.blogspot.com |

I can't pick only one ore two. I prefer the artistic, elegant gymnasts over the powerful ones. My all-time favourite gymnast is Svetlana Khorkina (followed by Henrietta Ónodi). Out of the currently competing gymnasts I like Nastia Liukin and Anna Pavlova the most, though I could mention Ivana Hong, Francesca Benolli and the Ukranians as well. And don't even get me started on the retired gymnasts... The Soviets were AMAZING, so as the Russians and Ukranians of the 1990s, and the Romanian team in the late '80s. I love MAG too, my faves are Alexei Nemov, Hiroyuki Tomita, Kohei Uchimura, Kyle Shewfelt, Marian Dragulescu - and the Soviets. _________________ "Too many judges are fooled into thinking a smile equals style."

I agree with Kata for many of those.
Svetlana Khorkina is definitely my favourite of all time, along with Tatiana Gutsu and Simona Amanar.
Current - Anna Pavlova, Veronica Wagner and I'll always be a Zamo and Chuso fan too.
For Mens AG Nemov and Vitali Scherbo are my all time faves. Draguelscu, Tomita, Jovtchev also. |

Female: Henrietta Ónodi, Svetlana Khorkhina, Lilia Podkopayeva, from the urrent ones I'll go with Liukin.
Male: Scherbo, without a shadow of doubt. Nemov was great, too. _________________ "Time is a great teacher; unfortunately it kills all its pupils." |

Anna Pavlova
Olga Mostepanova
Oksana Omelianchik
Aurelia Dobre
Vanda Hadarean
Silivas and Shushunova (this two have to be together on my list )
Natalia Kuchinskaya
Irina Baraksanova
Camelia Voinea

the entire Russian 2000 team (Lobaznyuk, Zamo, Produnova....and even Chepeleva and Kolesnikova) OMG!!!
Daniele Hypolito and Diane Dos Santos(I´m not big fan of their gymnastics but they have a special plave in my heart)
I´m all for the old artistic gymnastics style.....in the last 4 years I´ve only liked Pavlova, Semenova, Kramarenko and Izbasa.
Kata is right, the soviets were amazing, even the "least talented" soviet was awesome to watch.....my list could go on and on if I add all the Soviets I like.. _________________ ♥Staniouta, Halkina, Kudryavtseva, Pazhava ♥

I'm obsessed with brazillian gymnastics. They just changed their leadership, which is good because now Jade Barbosa's dad will let her be on the national team next season. She got in a beef with the federation because she claims they ignored her injuries and didn't let her drink water in the national training center. She needed to drink 1.5L per day to help with her kidney stone problem. She'll get better next season and I hope she can get back on the AA podium. Also, both the Hypolitos with be continuing. _________________ I have a gymnastics blog again. Here we go. toomanyamanars.blogspot.com |

She competed in Beijing with a huge injure in her shoulder, and after the Olympics her dad made this case public and said the CBG (Brazilian federation) was the guilty for her daughter's injuries .... |
