how did you do your sheets on the computer???????? |
You should just be able to copy and paste the symbols in, as long as the sheet has been converted from PDF to a Word Document. |
copy and paste the symbols from where..? _________________ make every move a move. |

From here --> http://figdocs.lx2.sportcentric.com/external/serve.php?document=485
The text is in French, but it's mostly symbols there so you should be able to figure it out just based on that. It might be harder for the Artistry and Execution symbols, though, since there's more wording there. _________________ *Elegance is an attitude.* |

leap with catch of the leg...
Under this new Cop, this element is a leap or a flexibility? And, what's its value? _________________ (...) e nos teus olhos eu vejo o susto e o grão de uma lágrima sobre a qual me concentro (...)

What is the Difficulty Value of the Standing Straddle Jump that Anna uses at the start of her new Rope routine? (I'm afraid I can't provide a link. The school internet doesn't allow YouTube). _________________ Anna's The Real Olympic Champion! |

Speaking of side straddle jumps, a side straddle jump with the trunk bent forward and taken off from both feet should be 0.7: straddle jump base (.4) + side straddle with trunk forward (+.2) + take off from both feet (+.1). In the table of elements, it's only given a value of .6. Was there an error on my or the table's account?
Also, I notice that a lot of gymnasts put their hands on the floor after these jumps. They shouldn't receive difficulty credit for this, right? Are gymnasts often gifted in regards to this, or is there some special circumstance that I don't know about? I've even seen a routine from Kabaeva where she got a 10 even though she put her hands down after a side straddle jump? _________________ I have a gymnastics blog again. I've wondered that, too, in the past, and I didn't really see anything in the 05/07 Code of Points that acknowledged it one way or the other, and I don't see anything that addresses it in the current CoP, either. _________________ *Elegance is an attitude.* |

I know that the value is not correct for this straddle jump, thus soon the TC must publish the corrections (including the pivots with progressive straightening of the support leg - again the value is not correct if we follow the basic criteria for this group of pivots).
Regarding the landing, it must be evaluated in Execution, not in difficultes corporelles. Do u agree? _________________ Go Alina, you are the Olympic Champion 2008!!! |

The thing is that loss of balance with hand support warrants taking away the value for that difficulty, along with an execution deduction. _________________ I have a gymnastics blog again. Here we go. toomanyamanars.blogspot.com |

But with these leaps I don't feel that using the hands is seen as a 'loss of balance'. Maybe 'heavy landing', though, but I think that deduction might've been removed from the CoP. _________________ *Elegance is an attitude.* |
