I downloaded the COP, but I can't figure out: What is the value of an attitude turn into a backgrabbing turn like kondakova often does?

It's a combination pivot, so it depends on how many rotations you perform in each position. The base would be 0.3 for the attitude + 0.4 for ring + 0.1 connection. So a minimum 0.8 if you did 360 in each position. Wink

As far as I understand from the COP, the fouette pivots value is calculated like this: base value+0,20 for each 360 turn.

The passe pivot is an A element, so 0,10.
The "leg at the horizontal" pivot is a C element, so 0,30.

A fouette passe pivot with 3 turns would be: 0,10 (base value) + 0,20+0,20=0,50

A fouette "leg at the horizontal" pivot with 3 turns would value: 0,30 (base value) +0,20+0,20=0,70

Where am I wrong? What am I missing in the way I'm calculating the value of these kind of pivots?

Fouette horizontals are different for some reason I do not know. They are 0.30 for every rotation.

The calculation is the following :

Passe Fouette pivot (360 degrees) - 0.10
Passe Fouette Pivot (720 degrees) - 0.30
So, if your gymnast makes 3 single pivots, it is
AAA = 0.30
If she makes 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple, itis :
ACE = 0.80

Horizontal Fouette Pivot (360 degrees) - 0.30
Horizontal Fouette Pivot (720 degrees) - 0.50
So if your gymnast does, like Maksymenko 9 single pivots, it is
CCCCCCCCC = 2.10
If she does 8 single and 1 double, it is
CCCCCCCCE = 2.30
If she does 1 single, 1 double and 1 triple (never seen a triple one in my life), it is :
CEG = 1.50

Sorry, but... Doesn't a double C pivot count as a 0.60 (so, a F? Confused Or for the fouettés is it different?

No, each extra rotation counts +0.2, so the value would be 0.5 Smile

The calculation is the following :

Horizontal Fouette Pivot (720 degrees) - 0.50

CCCCCCCCC = 2.10

sorry I'm not an experto in the COP but wouldn't it be?:

If she makes 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple, itis :
ACE = 0.90

Horizontal Fouette Pivot (360 degrees) - 0.30
Horizontal Fouette Pivot (720 degrees) - 0.50
So if your gymnast does, like Maksymenko 9 single pivots, it is
CCCCCCCCC = 2.70
If she does 8 single and 1 double, it is
CCCCCCCCE = 2.90

yes, you are right, I've never been good at maths )))

Ok. I generaly understand now. Thank you very much.

But what if she performs : 1 single, 1 single, 1 single ?
It is an AAA element - so just 0,30?

In section 10 of COP pivots, passe is 0.1, fouette passe is 0.2, horizontal fouette is 0.3. On page 32, section 5.1.2 the COP says "each additional rotation of 360 increases the difficulty by the value of the base value of the pivot." , but later in 5.1.10 it says "fouette pivots are base plus 0.2 for each additional turn"

So fouette passe pivot, 3 full turns is 0.6.
Yes, Tahnee is correct, the double horizontal (not fouette) is 0.6 for double, they told us that in judging class.

What would be the value of a combination pivot with one rotation in horizontal changing to one rotation in passé? Thanks Smile

0.30 (leg at 90°) + 0.10 (passé) + 0.10 (bonus) = 0.50. Very Happy

0.50: 0.3 + 0.1 + 0.1 combination bonus.

I am sorry, but I am very confused with this discussion above. Let’s have value for the following scenarios:

4 single Fouette (4x320)
one double (720), two singles
two doubles
one triple (like Kanaeva) two singles

4 singles = BBBB = 0.80
1 double, 2 singles = DBB = 0.80
2 doubles = DD = 0.80
1 triple, 2 singles = FBB = 1.00
