What is the value of fouette backwards? The rotation is not forward, but in opposite direction.

What do you mean with "backwards"? Do you mean en dehors (at 0:12 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPXUUAKIBEI&feature=related )? Confused If yes, the value is the same, it doesn't matter if you turn en dehors or en dedans (neither for the other pivots). Wink

It's the same thing there is in the video I put before, except that the ballerina in my video was only performing a passé pivot, not a fouetté pivot in passé. Razz Anyway the value is the same, you don't get a bonus if you turn towards a direction or towards another.

Can anybody tell me what would be the value of a combination pivot with one rotation with leg at horizontal and then one rotation in attitude? And are you actually allowed to do this move? Thanks Very Happy

Of course you are! Very Happy The value is 0.70 (0.30 for the first shape + 0.30 for the second shape + 0.10 for the combination). Smile

It is just the symbol for attitude pivot next to the penchee flex one, and then the combined letter value after, which is 'L' - 360 attitude pivot, to 720 penchee flex = 1.20.

I'm very confused about this now, because the judge in my club told me that the symbol for that is 17I (in COP), and not this what you said.
I'm very grateful that you(Tahnee) helped me, but can somebody(from judges) also confirm what Tahnee said. Thank you all in advance...

My apologies - I never have to write combination penchee flexs, no one in my gym does them. 17I looks kind of right, but I'm guessing you would have the bent attitude leg on the left of the line in the symbol, and not the horizontal leg. It would also be a K value then, since you add 0.20 for the additional rotation in penchee. Bit weird that they don't give the 0.10 bonus for combination in the pivots...
