|
|
Hey guys (: !
I currently live in a place where there is no RG clubs, so therefore i am self coached. In 2 years my family is planning to move 250 miles to the other side of my country so i can study and attend an RG club. So obviously i am very serious about RG, otherwise we wouldnt bother moving so far!
I am starting ballet classes in a week to improve my rg, I work on apparatus handling for 3 hours+ a day, i go running to improve stamina, i do 2 hours of stretching (up to - table height oversplits, chest stands level. Im quite flexible now), i have someone who stretches my back for me (pulls me back in a cobra type thing, really helps my back) and someone who sits on my back during oversplits and straddles to push the stretching further.
I was just wondering if anyone had any idea of anything else i could work on to improve, such as strengthening exercises, and anything else essential for this level of training? i dont want to miss something important out of training, and then not progress once ive got to the club because ive missed it out!
I did search by the way, but i couldnt find anything of use to me. But im sorry if ive missed a topic some where! |

woooow, I think you have it all covered
there aren't any strengthening exercises that I can recommend over typing...
but I could send you some videos over pm that I found on youtube, if you want. _________________ evgeniakanaeva.webs.com |

ummm i'm not sure but you could search 'your dreams rhythmic gymnastics training'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSCPuSHRJuE
this is a good warm up for your muscles
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4osjCveKiI
also what i do that helps is stand at barre and work on muscle control by raising your leg infront of you and behind you as slowly as you can and as far as you can multiple times. _________________ evgeniakanaeva.webs.com |
