Yes, it's Olga Buyanova. Oksana Kostina, Natalia Lipkovskaya's coach. Dasha and her coach from Irkutsk city.

A lot of us have notice that the shape of her knee during her turns is a little...and how she's close to her heel...it could be better basically.

I've noticed that Daria naturally has bigger calves and that might be why the shape isn't as perfect as other gymnasts (and dancers). I remember because I had the same issue and my coach sent me to Ballet basics so that I could learn how to make it so the shape was perfect even though my calves were larger.

But Viner doesn't care...which is probably why Daria is still this way.

thanks latvy, that may be it!

IŽve wondered why on earth Daria barely has a revele.

having Buyanova as her coach, one would have guessed that Daria should have corrected that problem a loooooooong time ago.

she is improving though...with baby steps, but she is!

Her pivots a few years ago were atrocious but I agree, she is getting better Very Happy I agree about the low releve too!

Is there any interview with translation, where she talks about her gold medal In Moscow? I'm curious. It would be nice to read such one. By the way, her pivots are amazing just like Kondakova's.

ZKata here is one article I found after she won.

http://ogirk.ru/news/2010-09-27/7887.html

its not an interview per se but IŽll write some comments she made.

I donŽt speak Russian so what IŽll write is an aproximation I get from the translator.

Daria said that before the world championships she could not imagine she was going to become world champion with the ribbon, beacause it was her weakest.
she also said Irina Viner gave her and Buyanova the Alfred SchnittkeŽs music to use her in her routine. she said Irina (Viner) worked a lot of time with her, explaining her the image she should play in the routine, the emotions of the music that she must convey to the audience.
She was worried because the routine was new and had only performed it in Holon before the world championships but she said she feels she managed to do it well.

and in this article:
http://sport.rian.ru/sport/20100923/278623970.html

She said that she felt a lot or happiness, emotions, joy, and that she couldnŽt believe what had happened. that she came into the carpet and tried not tot hink about it, she knew that Dasha (Kondakova) is a worthy rival, and that her main goal was to please the audience with her routine.

She said she worked very hard on the routine and that was able to succeed thanks to Irina Viner and Olga Buyanova

and she says she was very upset about KanaevaŽs mistakes that kept her out of the ribbon final because they are taught to not to think about the competition because afterall they all represent Russia
