I can already read the Cyrillic alphabet and pronounce everything (years involvement in RG has done this to me, lol!) so now I just need to actually learn sentence structure and...such. I start in January when the next quarter starts! ^_^

I have the same skills in French, sometimes I really wish to learn it and read some pages about French lessons, but... I still don't speak it, because my lessons are too rare..

that's actually exactly how I started with French and Mandarin Christina!

I could pronounce everything in French like a native (at least in my head) but had no idea what I was saying and there were no french classes in middle school so I found someone who was french (my cousins) to teach me (before we only spoke to each other in Cantonese). With Mandarin I could pronounce everything but it was hard to understand so I watched a lot of my parent's TV shows and listened to music to self-teach. I still have trouble speaking normally in Mandarin (a LOT of trouble) but if I were ever to get lost in China I'd be completely fine.

So, listen to French music and watch French movies! =D (might I suggest Paris Je t'Aime or Amelie? and listen to Camille or Zazie?)

If you want to, we can try writing to each other in French, through PMs... I need to get my written french level higher, cause I will write my Baccalaureate and my french level is pretty low. My french teacher told me I should try talking and writing in french with people xD (yeah, she thinks I totally have a chance - feel the irony?)

Well, next year I'll begin studying French too!...=P...So far, I know Portuguese - sure...=P -, Spanish and English. The latter is is so tough! C'mon, English seems to be such an easy lanaguage, but when we try to dive into a profound study of it, things get really hard! The worst is that I CAN'T find natives speakers to talk to!.. Evil or Very Mad

Well, if anyone want help with Spanish, I'd love to help...^^ Just add me.... Love
