I didn't see her name in the competitions that were held last week in Rus. so i'm guessing that she was born in 1997,thats good ! it means she has a chance to compete in the next EC.(with her beautiful hoop?). |

‘Masha used to be quite a shy girl’ – says Viner-Usmanova. ‘She didn’t realize who she was. I made her realize how beautiful she was, if she hadn’t deserved to be a member of the National Team, I wouldn’t have taken her! I took her to the ballet to make her become the ‘black swan’...read more on my tumble page

Oh my god it's so strange to see her at this age! OK she was talented and everything, but she was just one of the hundred other Russian girl, with a very low releve. And now she's with the leaders of Russia! So amazing! |

How can you say these are No expression, no personallity.???
Her face, her neck and her arms definitely are well trained for ballet. She is so balletic and so unique, no one like her! I am glad Irina Viner sees her potential.

I agree... She has no expression... She has that "dead face"... She has potential but she has a loooooot of thing to improove if she wants to stay in the team |

+1
She has those beautiful long legs and arms, and lovely feet, but there's nothing going on in her face. But she's very young, maybe her expression will come with growing up. _________________ My youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/xxJodelleFerlandxx?feature=mhee

I would not put Maria among the most expressive gymnasts, but this is normal! She is just 15, and very few gymnasts can show a remarkable expression at their first year among Seniors!
I like her a lot, she is sooo elegant and graceful! She looks a ballerina! Her hoop routine is one of my favourite hoop routines of the year!
I think she is more promising than Svatkovskaya, but unfortunately she isn't very consistent, and she sometimes makes stupid mistakes... but I think this will be fixed with the experience, and also her expression will improve!
She has already improved a lot since the previous year. Now she is among the 4 best Russian gymnasts, while in 2012 she wasn't even chosen for Junior European Championships and for other international competitions... I think she is very good for having such a little experience! Trubnikova, Svatkovskaya and Kudryavtseva used to compete much more than her, when they were juniors! |

Agree *Kalinka*. I wouldn't exactly say she has a 'dead' expression, but it certainly leaves a lot to be desired. Either she will look nervous or just have a polite smile; however, I think it's something that (hopefully) will change with more experience and getting comfortable on the floor. The same with her silly mistakes. Aside from that, she's got wonderfully nice lines and potential to be a refreshing throwback to old rhythmic. _________________ Tumblr |

She is not the most expressive gymnast, but is good enough for me. And considering she is only 15 now, I think she is very good and classic. I am not a fan of big expressive style, always not. Masha's classic, GRACEFUL and balletic style is just my type! She is the most elegant gymnast I have ever seen. I think I rina Viner knows that clearly, she had said clearly about Masha already in the press conference of GP Moscow, I made a translation last month

How can a coach will let go such a good quality gymnast? Beautiful face, perfect body line and proportion, plus graceful style. Her technique is weak, but she has time to improve it, and like *Kalinka* said, she has improved a lot actually this year.
Just updated her profile in my website, got some information directly from Masha such as her height, weight, brothers and sisters, favorite gymnast, favorite apparatus, favorite author, favorite ballet dancer, favorite color etc… (she is a very kind and nice girl )
