No, it's really just an exhibition |
Thank you!!
This year scores are anywhere TOO high!! Before they were just if competitions where in Russia, or if it was a Grand Prix or a "minor competition".. I wonder what scores we'll see in EC (90% high as on World Cups) and OG!!! _________________ Go Golden Butterflies!! |

not trying to offend Kanaeva's fans, but I don't think she should be getting scores THAT high with mistakes and drops... God forbid a non-Russian gymnast had a drop, she would have so much more points taken off. |

Thank you, I agree 100%, this is really getting to see her always scored looking at the level of her routine or her great capacity and not on her performance
29.300 instead of 29.600 usually isn't translating her mistakes |

Apparently Merkulova just went on the carpet with ribbon with the same music she used for clubs
Her ribbon score hasn't come yet and Viner is apparently screaming at the judge, she doesn't seen satisfied by the score even though she had done mistakes... Viner is definitely a cheeky woman!
3rd step of the big isuue: Merkulova is going back on the carpet because the organizers actually put the wrong music!
Delphine's Clubs were great, 27.250
Garaeva Ribbon 27.150 |

Whoa... O.o I can see why Viner would want her to be able to go again with the right music, but there must be an issue with the labelling on Sasha's CDs, this has happened twice with ribbon music. _________________ My youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/xxJodelleFerlandxx?feature=mhee

Did Anya R. qualified to the finals? According to hoop and ball results, she will be doing at least these both finals?
Merkulova - you know her results often makes me think everything we saw before in RG was super-fair. Sorry, AleksandraFan, I respect you and your preferences , but Merkuova is extremely overscored! I can't imagine how superb should be a routine for getting 29.050... Her 29.000 ball was very good, but not for such score at all...
Tell me please, who on earth thinks Merkulova's ball is better than Rizatdionova's? Except judges sure.)) _________________ Truth without love turns person into criticaster...

""Sasha's ribbon and clubs better have been good.""
Even I don't think she deserves those scores. I love to see her doing well and winning medals, but I'd love it more if she actually earned those scores.
The only thing I will say for Merkulova/Rizatdinova's ball routines is that Sasha is always doing something, while Anna sometimes just stops, does something with her arms (no motion of the ball). But Sasha kind of does that once too.... I don't know. I like them both. They're very different. _________________ My youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/xxJodelleFerlandxx?feature=mhee

Yes but one the same time merkulova is much more messy
You can't move everywhere if you can't fix anything in RG...
Merkulova got 28.800 with ribbon |

That's good, I am shaking your hand! I haven't seen videos of today either, but I have a guess - let's check it later. Sasha's clubs weren't bad, clean enough, without evident mistakes, but indeed with some mess... Ribbon must be a little worse...
What about balls of Anya and Sasha - needless to say, Anya is judged very well. Her scores still at 27-28, and I think it's fair scores...
Besides 29 is not fair for me...
I can't understand Dmitrieva as well... she is very good, but she always fails one routine in AA. why?? she has everything for being at the top, but she fails often... _________________ Truth without love turns person into criticaster...

I just got back from the competition. They put Merkulova's clubs music on for her ribbon and she made a few mistakes. Viner was VERY angry and started shouting at the superior jury and then walked over to the music man to shout at him . They decided to let her do the routine again and she did it very "well". Viner was wearing a RUSSIA jacket for the first time ever, only in the evening when Merkulova was competing as if to show everyone that she was her trainer and nobody else . After Dmitrieva's terrible clubs routine she took of her necklace and did some meditation... maybe something to do with the Kaballah branch of judaism that she believes in. It was a bit weird to be honest. I felt really sorry for Daria, she looked to disappointed at the medal ceremony, I think she knows it won't be her going to London. Before Mazur's clubs the announcer said Maximenko was going to perform, it was rather embarassing and it took him a long time to find the new starting order _________________ Jon |
