It's hard to explain really, it's an interdisciplinary degree. Basically I'm studying international relations & peace and conflict studies. =D

Today I was thinking about how interesting it would be if there were a compulsory routine for elite. I think it'd be kind of eye opening and fun (though repetitive) to watch IMO! Smile

That idea would quite annoy the judges, so it might be worth trying.

...are you being paid for this at least? I wouldn't judge for 11.5 hours without SOME payout! o-o

These sound so interesting!! I'm in medicine so I don't really come in contact with these issues very often...but...could you recommend any Internet sites, documentaries, movies, books etc for someone new to the subject? Maybe just some orientative themes not necessarily names per se? I'd really love to find out more and I don't really know where to start Very Happy

Just saw Miley Cyrus' cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene...my draw dropped. I was NOT expecting that! Shocked And she sings other classic country-folk songs. Watching Guess that teaches me not to judge celebrities so harshly?

(I pretty much listen to most all genres of music, and I very much enjoy American Folk-Country and Jolene is a personal favorite of mine...I'm always singing it at karaoke hahaha!)

Edit: Still can't get over these backyard cover sessions, amazing.

OMG, I went to Roland Garros yesterday and it was a complete dream come true Blub Blub .

Went to see my favorite tennis player ever, Elena Dementieva now retired, who played the legend´s final teaming up with Martina Navratilova, against Lindsay Davenport and Martina Hingis! such big names, and the Martinas are living tennis legends. Hingis´s game is perfection Love .

I got there and decided to go sit where there was no sun, so I turned around the stadium and saw Martina Navratilova is one of the outside courts, and I started to freak out because if she was tere Elena had to be the ones she was hitting balls with and YES SHE WAS.

To put it in a way, in my list of my favorite sporstpeople ever the only one that ranks above Dementieva is Tchachina, and they´re pretty even.

after she and Navratilova finished training, I got her autograph and took a photo with her, gave her a gift from México and a letter from the fans of the tennis forum, she was happy, she thanked me, winked at me and left. So many things I would have like to say to her, but couldn´t I paralized, talked to her in a french-english mix and even thre in an spasibo Laughing Embarassed .

anyways, I´m so happy. Smile
