Thanks Cipelly! I thought these illusions were the backward ones!
I think the international judges should provide some videos of all body elements, with also an explanation about how they must be performed. There are many elements that aren't performed by any international gymnast (especially since the CoP forbids to perform a body difficult which is worth more than 0.10 if you are not asking the value), so it's almost impossible to know when these elements are performed correctly. |

Also Zhukova, Tchachina, Mitrosz and more...
Instead is more uncommon to see backward illusion with trunk bent... I can't remember any of the gymnasts I saw doing them... |
These are backwards illusions. Sideways is what you never see... _________________ http://www.youtube.com/Tahnee2612 |

Does anyone have a video or photo example of the sw illusion then? May be they are done in an other sport... _________________ RG is the true reason to go on in my life! |

Ohhhhh now I understand! At page 44 of CoP 2009-2012 there are 4 types of illusion!! Forwards ones: usually performed in risks (0.10 base value); Sideways ones: something strange never seen (as if you turn external to your leg) (0.10 base value); Backward with back bent of the trunk (Trofimova's at 0.41 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGhQNIp6_aY ) (0.30 base value); and Backwards with trunk horizontal (Rodriguez's, Zhukova's ecc) (0.20 base value).
I got confused as I see only 3 types on the new CoP and with very bad drawings and symbols! _________________ Go Golden Butterflies!! |

Yes, but in the new CoP, there is juste one type of back illusion, there isn't a difference between back bend and back at horizontal, because the FIG doesn't want to favor the back flexibility.
And I found a side illusion, it is a bit like the front illusion, but the trunk is on the side...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUhj7T0Bqu4 at 1.17 _________________ * Il miglior modo per realizzare i propri sogni è svegliarsi. |

I think in the new CoP the backward illusion is only with back bend because the symbol and the draw is the same of that one on the old CoP and there's written "Illusion body bending backwards". _________________ Go Golden Butterflies!! |
