Wow, I think I should buy a new rope now Mr. Green I have the Carita house rope and yes they do really hurt when they hit you!

I was really shocked when my coach handed me one! I was like 'these are so weird!' They are so heavy and stiff Neutral
I am looking for a new rope, but i do not want to pay £20 for sasaki, so i am looking into 10mm 'magicians rope' from ebay. It is looks just like rg rope, and is soft and has the same flexibility and thickness.

I guess you just have to get used to them, I have never used any other sort so I probably don't notice Smile

Yes you wouldn't know the difference Smile I think more flexible ropes are much easier to handle, and i found the carita house ones lost their shape in throws, and made catching inaccurate. I noticed on the website they are also £11! I paid £3.15 for my rope from newits, and it is much better. Strange haha!

There prices are also really resonable. Their 'heat' shorts are only 13 euros! I have contacted them about shipping prices and details to England, I hope they answer soon!

Pastorelli replied
Shipping takes 3 - 6 days to England
Shipping costs from 12 - 45 euros depending on the weight of the item! So ropes ect won't cost much compared to a hoop or clubs
You can pay with paypal or advanced bank transfer
To get the estimated price with shipping ect, add your items to the basket and ask for the estimate Smile

I'll definitely take a look. Though I just remembered there isn't a lot of point me buying a new rope as I'm already senior, so this is my last (and first!! grrr) year of rope!
