The rope was taken out for no reason and the people this arbitrary decision affected did nothing about it beyond starting a token petition.

When you notice more than 400 views and only 27 make the effort to answer, I inevitably start to think that people actually do not care all the cheating in this sport.

How can we expect any change if an overwhelming majority does not mind how the results "are made" ?...

Erik, I think it's more likely that there's just not much else to say on the matter for this specific topic to be the place to discuss it.

We do mind, we complain and protest all the time already in youtube comments, in other topics on this forum and on others, and when we go to competitions.

400 views does not necessarily mean 400 people. Could be largely search engines crawling the pages. Activity of real people has been stifled by so few registrations being approved. Check the memberlist from most recent first and see how many greyed out names with zero posts to them. You may be surprised.

Definitely the corruption.

And that Russia wins everything -> less interest in other countries.

I think the biggest problem in RG is the corruption and if the sport is "cleaned out" then it's possible more females and countries would become interested and invest more time and money.

wow Shocked
I read the posts in that link and I feel like those are more attacking on Russian gymnastics and kind of point out that only Russians were gain advantage by the judges. Shocked
And I feel like the conclusion of the unfair judging and corruption are because of Russian??? Confused

Nobody really cares about it outside of Europe
It really is true, since many people associate this sport and its champions with European countries.

There is too much corruption
All you know is true.

There are no men in the sport
If only men would have greater coverage at first, but then all would be equal.

Chocolate has calories
XD

Ribbon is too long, clubs are too heavy
XD

Italian TV Commentators who would never keep quiet
Many commentators (especially Italians and Russians) are not usually silent when transmit championships and that makes me nervous.

Viner is always the winner
Well, if some countries in addition to Russia and satellites win more often then it would be different. But in principle is different, since everything is made to the measure of a single country. On Wall Bash On Wall Bash
