Hi everybody,

Here is the 2014-2016 USAIGC and IAIGC Rhythmic Gymnastics Code of Points that was sent out to teams in October. For those not on our email list, I figured that it would be good to also post the link here. Smile

The USAIGC and IAIGC Rhythmic program is an alternative track of rhythmic gymnastics, focused on uniting all rhythmic gymnasts from various countries under one roof instead of dividing up by nation. Our goal is become a worldwide gymnastics organization with the philosophy of longevity and enjoyment of the sport.

We belong to the general USAIGC/IAIGC program, which consists of artistic and rhythmic gymnastics clubs from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Bermuda, South Africa, and Romania. We find it very important for rhythmic events to be friendly, fun, welcoming, encouraging, and not so darn "cut-throat" as many of them are.

We welcome new teams, new countries, and gymnasts of all ages and levels to join us in our competitive and positive organization!

The last USAIGC/IAIGC joint artistic/rhythmic world championships event had 1300 athletes competing. There are USAIGC and IAIGC events held all over.

We will be offering several rhythmic events in the spring, such as the Equinox Invitational in Virginia/West Virginia in March, a Northeast Regionals and State Championships, the 2015 USAIGC/IAIGC Rhythmic worlds in June in Orlando, Florida and other events TBD.

Our goal is to spread this organization to many different countries and to get as many athletes as possible to be able to participate and unite together. You can be a gymnast in your own country's federation and also compete with us--we encourage you to give us a try.

We are expecting over 100 USAIGC/IAIGC rhythmic gymnasts at the Northeast Regionals, so more information soon to follow about this and all of our other fun and FRIENDLY rhythmic events.

Our program is unisex and ageless...we offer competitive rhythmic options for both women and men, and there are no age minimums or maximums (we have rhythmic athletes performing who are as young as four years old, and others in their thirties). We maintain affordable competition prices and a unique award system that is based on individual athletic performances, with ranking as an additional option for those who chose it.

We welcome gymnasts from all countries and federations, as always! Give USAIGC and IAIGC a try and see what you think. Smile
