Totally agree with that.. The "big" girls got like the usual crown, medal, a envelope, a hoop(cover, with maybe a hoop in it) and a square box what people in the streamchat said it was a Ipad...

Thats just unfair compared to the others who get a stuffed animal.. As if they wouldn't get it normally after a routine?

Why'd Mitrosz get an iPad? Watching And what was with Trubnikova today? She had like 4 drops in her clubs routine.

This debate resurfaces EVERY year after the Deriugina Cup - Last year everyone moaned at Alina winning 3 Event Finals out of 4 against Kondakova, and this year is no different!
The competition is in Ukraine for a start. Do you honestly think they're not going to get hometown advantage? I'm not justifying it, and I'm not saying it's acceptable but why not when the same thing happens in Minsk, Moscow, etc?
As far as I'm concerned, this isn't worth the arguing and deliberation. It's not something we haven't seen before and FAR WORSE crimes have been committed in RG (Garaeva winning the Bronze medal in Montpellier)
This is a World Cup and the majority of the biggest Gymnasts weren't there - No Charkashyna, Garaeva, Kanaeva, Kondakova, Staniouta, etc. The scoring maybe, and probably is the reason why, but this isn't the Olympic Games and we all know Miteva won't score so low in the coming competitions - So why are you all so hung up?

It's not Maksymenko's scores that bother me. On a good day,Maksymenko can beat Garaeva outside Kiev, too, and she has done so in the past. It's Rizatdinova's scores that are just a mockery to me, and, of course, Mitrosz's.

Dmitrieva won three out of four finals this year, I really don't understand why people say Alina is overcored.

I don't think Riza's scores are a "mockery" at all Neutral she did very well at this competition. yeah she doesn't have the handling level of Kondakova and Miteva, but her routines are still good, especially her ball and hoop. I'm very happy for her getting 3 silvers and 1 bronze.

If they didn't take it out from Bessonova's routines they won't do it with Maksymenko either Smile

i agree. i dont get why some people think Riza was overscored at all. to me, some of her routines were stronger than Maxi's, like ball for example. her scores were high when she did well and not so high when she had some mistakes (like in the ribbon final)
Daria really was amazing too Love

I like Dmitrieva, but not everywhere... Ball is marvelous, graceful and feminine (I mean routine, not performance), it suits her very well!
Ribbon is beautiful too, but clubs and hoop as for me, was nothing special...

Rizatdinova wasn't overscored, she was very clean and confident! She didn't get 29.999, she just got 28 for clean routines - it doesn't look extreme at all...
Just IMO, I like Anya very much. No need to say who is number one or two - both girls are good gymnasts! I like Maksimenko's hoop (very risky!) and clubs!
